Customer Questions & Answers:
Q1.Is DHS Zinc Shampoo to be used every day?
- We recommend using DHS Zinc, DHS Sal and DHS Tar Shampoos three times each week, or as recommended by your doctor. We suggest using either our DHS Regular or Clear Shampoo during the “off” days. Daily use of the DHS Conditioning Rinse will also help hair and skin maintain a natural moisture balance.
Q2.I noticed the DHS Zinc Shampoo uses TEA Lauryl Sulfate. Is this ingredient associated with the Sulfa group of drugs?
No.TEA Lauryl Sulfate sulfur works only as a cleansing agent. The only similarities between the two agents is that they both help prevent microbial growth and they both are amides. The available evidence suggests that individuals with hypersensitivity to sulfonamide antibiotics do not have any increased risk of hypersensitivity reaction to the non-antibiotic agents
Q3.Does dhs have ammonia?
- No, it does not have ammonia
